In Memory of Derek Henson

Columbus Candle Supply was guided for several years by Derek Henson, who purchased the business and poured his heart into it. Derek’s vision was simple: to help makers of all levels have access to the best supplies and a supportive community.

He was known not just for running the shop, but for his kindness, humor, and the genuine care he showed to every customer who walked through the door. Derek created connections that went far beyond business—he built friendships.

Although Derek is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in every corner of the store and in the community he helped nurture. We carry his legacy forward with gratitude, ensuring Columbus Candle Supply remains a place where makers feel welcomed, supported, and inspired.
